Colorful Weekend

This Saturday and Sunday was full of events like usual but this more towards festive feel 😊 It started with beautiful drive to Shelburne Falls. The fall at the Shelburne was not that great but flowers at the Bridge of Fowers were amazing.

After that we went to Yankee Candle Factory and our eyes were enlightened with the colors of trees and flowers.

It was little bit cold but I enjoyed the colors to the fullest. I wanted to stay there for long. We headed back to home and got ready for graba night.

Had a great time with friends for dancing almost two hours continuously. Sanido, Gujrathas flash mob was the main attractions.
Sunday was Dasara and it was special since Aie, baba are here, Ruhi came over for weekend so it was special.

You feel more festive when home is filled with near  and dear ones. Baba did the job of picking nice merry gold flowers for the door garland.

This time also we had home grown flowers for Dasara. Priti did pick the flowers for Mandir and made beautiful garland out of it.

Aie and I did SriSukta Parayan for 16 times, gave the feeling of (no words to explain)
Had a lunch of khir-puri and did some shopping while Jai was taking nap and Ram went for game.
In the evening we did Aukshan and went to Bharatis place for Durga Pooja and dinner.

It was a colorful weekend.

This is the email.

This week in Yoga...
We revisited and reviewed the three focal points of yoga: breathing, relaxing and stretching.  Each child was able to explore and listen to the vignettes of various poses and positions presented within the cards of The ABCs of Yoga for Kids by Teresa Ann Power and illustrations by Kathleen Rietz.  Below you will find the next pose listed within the book.  Reinforce your child's experience by practicing this pose with them at home.
